US Trusted Pros ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personally identifiable information ("PII") you may provide us through our website at ustrustedpros.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy outlines our data collection, usage, and sharing practices, specifically tailored to our role as a platform connecting homeowners with local home service professionals.
To facilitate the matching of your service requests with qualified local contractors, we collect the following types of information:
The core function of US Trusted Pros is to introduce you to vetted local professionals. By submitting your information, you acknowledge and agree that we will use it to:
Lead Distribution: We are a lead generation and matching platform[cite: 2]. By clicking "Get My Free Quote," you provide express written consent for us to share your provided PII (name, phone number, ZIP code, and project details) with our network of local contractors, who may contact you directly via phone or text message regarding your project[cite: 1, 2].
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as Google Analytics) to track user behavior and analyze trends on the Site. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, some portions of our Site may not function properly.
Depending on your state of residence, including California (CCPA), you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request that we delete your data, or opt-out of the "sale" or sharing of your personal information. Because our primary service involves transmitting your data to third-party contractors to provide quotes, opting out of this sharing will prevent us from fulfilling your service request.
To exercise your privacy rights, please contact us at contact@ustrustedpros.com.
We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit or contractors you engage.
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
